Angela Jones is just a girl that loves Jesus, her family and her friends. It sounds pretty simple, but that's who she is.
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, Angela learned the value of family at an early age. Adopted by her mother's 2nd husband when she was 10 years old, she found that a close relationship with a father figure can have a huge impact on a young person's life. At age 13, her adopted father died of cancer. Knowing he was in heaven was very comforting for her, but she was still faced with the nagging question of 'why?'. "Why had he died, why couldn't God have healed him, why did one of the strongest people in my life have to be taken away?" Angela felt alone, afraid and empty. Her confidence in herself, her family and her Faith was forever affected. ..." I missed the fact that Jesus loved me, Jesus Loves Me, just as that childhood song says."
Angela struggled with confidence for many years as many teenage girls do. "I decided it was time to look deeper than what the world sees, I decided to take confidence in what Christ has done in my life."
Angela now celebrates her confidence with her husband Seth, and 3 wonderful children, Justin, Caitlin and Alex. Currently residing in Lebanon, Indiana, Angela and her family are active members at New Hope Christian Church in Whitestown.
A passion for music and the inspiration of her family, friends and the Holy Spirit, encouraged Angela to put her story to music by recording an album. Her first album, Confidence, debuted in September of 2007. Written and produced by national Christian recording artist John David Webster, Confidence showcases Angela's talent and her love for the Lord.
